RCN launches new education, learning and development portal

Bringing together content from the RCN and RCNi in a single, searchable, portal, RCN Learn is the “go to” learning hub for the nursing profession.

Wherever you are in your career, you can access hundreds of quality-assured educational resources to support your clinical and professional development – improving nursing practice, patient experience and ultimately health outcomes.

All content sits behind a secure log-in, giving you the flexibility to search and filter on any device for your own unique learning journey. According to which category a person is in, they may have limited access to specific resources:

  • users registered with a free account: access a selection of learning resources, including standards and frameworks which are essential to care delivery across the UK
  • RCN member: access all the above plus hundreds of clinical and non-clinical learning resources. NMC registrants can access our purpose-built tool to help them build, store and track their evidence for revalidation quickly and clearly
  • RCNi Plus subscriber: access RCNi Plus content including thousands of RCNi peer-reviewed articles and learning modules
  • paid-for resources: access courses for organisations and individuals (members and non-members) to buy. These include the RCN Leadership programmes, RCN Infection Prevention and Control, RCN Leadership in Sustainability, the RCN Cultural Ambassador Programmes, RCN Leadership in Physical and Mental Health Outcomes, and RCNi products.

RCN General Secretary & Chief Executive Pat Cullen said: “This is an exciting new development in our commitment to providing the very best evidence-based learning resources for nursing staff.
