The care received by my husband was well below what I was promised when he went into the home.

He was often unwashed, unshaven and in soiled pads. He was sometimes wearing someone else's shoes on the wrong feet, and no one cared ! His room was not always clean and the smell of urine constant.

The focus is on entertainment, which is all very nice but basic caring is lacking.

My husband had a serious fall and his care until I could reach him was dreadful. Left in bed alone with a broken hip. Even the paramedics were horrified by the lack of care.
