Rutland House Community Trust

Rutland House Community Trust, established in 1989 by Hazel and Terry Jeffery, aims to provide essential services for adults with learning disabilities in the Oakham area. Its first service, Willowbrook, opened in 1995 as a residential home. The Trust is now a leading provider of care, offering residential, supported living, and domiciliary care services to adults with learning disabilities and other needs. Willowbrook is a registered residential service, while the Trust also manages two supported living schemes operating around the clock. Additionally, it provides domiciliary care for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and the elderly in Rutland. The Trust focuses on enhancing independence and improving the lives of its service users. Fundraising events, like the upcoming Tugby Trail in July 2026, support its efforts and help sustain its operations. The Trust emphasizes community and empowerment for individuals with disabilities, striving to create an inclusive environment that meets their unique needs and promotes their wellbeing.
