Garden House

The Park care home, known as Bowden Derra Park, was established in 1982 by David Cash and his late wife, Judy. Their vision was to create a supportive environment for individuals with learning disabilities, which has since expanded to accommodate a wide range of needs, including physical disabilities and mental health issues. The facility offers a home-like atmosphere and promotes inclusive, person-centered care, with services tailored to individual requirements.

With a focus on community, The Park engages in various activities such as an inclusive choir that combines singing and signing, emphasizing diversity and accessibility. The facility also features multiple areas, including residential and nursing care, allowing for comprehensive support.

The Park has continuously evolved, addressing new challenges while ensuring a high standard of accommodation and care for its residents. The management team, led by registered manager Jonathan Steed, oversees the services to ensure they meet the diverse needs of the individuals they support.
