Prior's Court is a registered charity that provides education and residential care for autistic young people aged 5 to 25 with complex needs. The organization aims to support these individuals in developing more independent and brighter futures. Recently, the staff received praise from Newbury MP Lee Dillon for their exceptional dedication to helping autistic young people. Over 45 autism professionals have completed specialized TEACCH® training at Prior's Court, ensuring they are well-equipped to support the needs of the students. Additionally, the organization has seen the reopening of its Multi-Sensory Building following a successful fundraising appeal. The Long Road film, which features the charity's work, has also been recognized as a finalist in the 2026 Smiley Charity Film Awards. Prior's Court relies on government funding but also actively raises money for specialized equipment and facilities to enhance the lives of the young people in its care.
